How MotionBlender works

What exactly does MotionBlender do?

MotionBlender is a fast way to turn the assets you provide into a set of animated HTML5 ads. We place your visuals, copy and other assets into the chosen animation template, prepare them in all ordered sizes and take care of the technical work, compression and validation for your ad system. You get finished ads ready to launch.

Are the ads made automatically by AI, or by a person?

Automation speeds up the routine part of production, but a MotionBlender specialist adjusts and checks every output. They watch the visual quality, how the animation works and whether the files are technically ready to launch. MotionBlender is not a self-service generator where you just download an automatic output.

What do I get at the end of production?

Final ZIP files ready for your chosen ad system or buying method. A standard set includes the five most used sizes. Source and editable files are not part of the delivery.

What exactly do I get within 24 hours?

Within 24 hours of receiving usable assets, you get the first working preview of the real ad, including animation and interactions. Once you approve it, MotionBlender prepares and delivers the final ZIP files for your target platform.

How does production work, from brief to delivery?

We take your brief and assets, check them, choose a suitable template and prepare a working preview. After your feedback, we make the corrections, finalize all formats, check that they are technically ready and hand them over for launch.

How much work is left for the client?

You provide the brief and assets, choose or approve the suggested mechanic and approve the working preview. MotionBlender takes care of production, format adaptations, animation, compression and technical checks. The campaign is usually launched by you or your media agency.

Who launches the finished ads?

You do, usually through your media agency. MotionBlender delivers files that are technically prepared and validated. Campaign setup, targeting, budget and media stay with you or your agency.

Who is MotionBlender best for?

For brands and agencies that need high-quality HTML5 ads fast, repeatedly and without building their own specialized production. It brings the most value for regular campaigns, but a new client can first try the collaboration with one full pilot project.

Assets, templates and design

What assets do you need? Is a finished JPG enough?

Layered files in PSD or Figma work best, because they allow more precise animation and layout changes. They are not required, though. MotionBlender can create high-quality ads from a finished JPG or any other static visual.

What if the assets are incomplete or low quality?

We tell you right away and suggest the fastest solution. You can complete the assets yourself, or MotionBlender can help fix them, separate elements or adjust the design. The goal is to get the job done, not to turn it down because of the assets.

Will the ads match our visual style?

Yes. The template mainly defines how the animation or interaction works, not how your brand looks. Every ad is adapted to your key visual, colors, typography, product and message hierarchy.

Does using a template mean a generic result?

No. A template is a proven technical and production base that has already worked in real campaigns. It speeds up production, makes the ads technically reliable and makes later changes to content or versions easier. The visual style, layout and animation pace are adjusted for the specific brand and campaign. Adapting an existing mechanic is also faster and cheaper than building a new template from scratch.

Can I choose a specific template?

Yes. In the consultation, you can start from the catalog of existing mechanics or describe what the ad should achieve. MotionBlender will recommend the solution that best fits your visual, message and campaign goal. The most complex or most interactive mechanic is not always the best. Sometimes a simple, quickly readable animation serves the campaign better.

What types of templates does MotionBlender offer?

Automatic, interactive, game, video, site skin and social formats. The catalog includes mechanics such as Spinner, Mosaicer, Swoosher, Rocker, Flipper, Scratcher, Bouncer and VideoScratcher, and it keeps growing.

Can you also help with the design?

Yes. Design support can include fixing assets, adjusting the layout, preparing elements for animation or adding capacity your team is missing. Work beyond a normal adaptation is agreed and priced in advance.

Pricing, packages and scope

What exactly is one set of ads?

One standard set means one creative version, one template, one language version, one target platform and five formats: 300 × 300, 300 × 600, 300 × 250, 480 × 300 and 480 × 480 px. For high-volume partners, the rules can be adjusted to reflect the actual workload.

Is the €199 Test a full campaign?

Yes. The Test is a full first project for a new client at a one-time introductory price. It has the same production scope as a standard set and lets you try the collaboration on a real campaign.

What is the difference between the Test and Start packages?

The scope is the same. Test is the first pilot campaign for a new client at the introductory price of €199, while Start is any further single campaign at the standard price of €549.

How many rounds of changes are included?

There is no fixed number of rounds. The price includes one hour of minor corrections and changes in total, which covers about 90% of campaigns in practice. Work beyond this is billed at €53 per hour excl. VAT. What counts is the actual work, not the number of emails or feedback rounds.

What if I need another format, language or a version for another platform?

MotionBlender will prepare it and price it by the actual work. A simple export for another platform costs around €40. Larger localizations, another creative version or a bigger set of formats are priced individually before work starts.

Can you create a completely new template or a non-standard interaction?

Yes. If your brief goes beyond the existing catalog, MotionBlender can adapt a current mechanic or build a new custom solution. Price and deadline are set by the scope, so you know in advance what the production includes.

Are prices shown without VAT?

Yes. Prices of packages, hourly work and extra outputs are shown excl. VAT.

Previews, changes and responsibility

What happens after the first working preview?

You review the preview as a working ad and send your feedback. MotionBlender makes the changes, prepares all formats and, after final approval, delivers ZIP files ready for your ad system.

What does the client approve during production?

You approve a working preview, not just a static storyboard. You see how the animation actually runs, how readable the message is and any interactions before all formats are finished.

What if the copy, product or key visual changes after production?

If the change fits into the included hour of corrections, it is part of the set price. Bigger changes are billed by actual time at €53 per hour excl. VAT. MotionBlender always tells you in advance if a change goes beyond the standard scope.

Who does the final visual and technical check?

The same MotionBlender specialist who produces the campaign. They know the brief, the visual logic and the technical requirements, and check the output as a whole, from the message to launch readiness.

Can I be sure the ads will pass the platform’s checks?

Yes. MotionBlender prepares and validates the files directly for your chosen ad system or publisher. We take responsibility not only for working files, but also for their approval by the target platform.

What if the ad system rejects an ad?

MotionBlender fixes the files at no extra production fee and prepares them again so they meet the platform’s requirements. Thanks to platform templates and final validation, no delivered output has been rejected so far.

Do you provide support after delivery?

Yes. If a problem with function or approval comes up during launch, MotionBlender will solve it. Usually there is no need for further support, because the files are checked and validated before delivery.

Ad systems and technical requirements

Do I need to change my ad server or how we launch campaigns?

No. MotionBlender prepares the files for the system you already use, so you don’t need to add another technology platform. Your media agency can launch the finished ads within your existing process.

Which ad systems do you prepare files for?

Mainly for Adform, and also for DV360 and direct buys with Czech publishers such as Seznam.cz, Mafra, CNC and Economia. Each export is adjusted to the rules of the specific system or launch method.

Does MotionBlender affect how you buy media or what it costs?

No. MotionBlender delivers creative files and has no part in media buying or the price per impression. You stay in your ad system, keep your inventory and buying method, and pay MotionBlender for ad production, not by the size of your media reach.

Can you make one universal file for all platforms?

No. Each ad system and publisher has its own technical requirements. MotionBlender keeps the same creative concept but prepares a separate, technically correct export for each platform.

How does production for a direct buy with a publisher work?

The ad is prepared for the specific publisher, but launch and reporting usually run through a supported ad platform, most often Adform. Separate files for launching directly on the publisher’s side are not prepared as standard.

Who sets up clickTAG, measurement and tracking parameters?

Campaign setup and tracking are handled by you or your media agency. MotionBlender builds the ad so it technically supports the needed parameters and events, and they can be connected correctly in the ad system.

Do the ads work on both mobile and desktop?

Yes. The ads are cross-device and work on all devices. Each size is also composed and optimized to stay fast, readable and clear on mobile.

What file size limits must the ads meet, and who handles compression?

As a guide: 300 kB for Adform and DV360, 200 kB for direct buys and 2 MB for video. The exact limit always depends on the target platform. MotionBlender handles image compression, code minification and final optimization. The goal is not only to meet the limit, but also fast loading, stable performance and sharp display on high-resolution screens.

HTML5, interactivity and measurement

Why is a well-built HTML5 ad better than a static one?

Because it quickly grabs attention, highlights key information in the right order and can actively engage people. With a comparable message and media conditions, professionally designed animated and interactive HTML5 ads usually achieve a higher CTR than static ads. Controlled experiments and large industry benchmarks show increases from tens of percent up to several times, depending on the type of campaign and how interactive the ad is. Interactive mechanics also extend the time people spend with the brand and its message.

Does an ad work even if people don’t click on it?

Yes. A click is not a condition for an ad’s brand impact. Recent controlled and eye-tracking studies show that, with a comparable message, professionally designed animated and dynamic formats can achieve higher attention, brand recall and ad recall than static ads. The success of an awareness campaign is best measured with a Brand Lift study, not by CTR alone.

What five principles must a high-performing ad meet?

Instant impact, a clear layout, a clear message in every second of the animation, a chance to engage and lightning-fast loading. MotionBlender checks these principles in every output.

How fast must people understand the main message?

Within two seconds, it must be clear who is speaking, what they offer and what action they want. An ad can’t wait several seconds for the animation to start or hide the main information until the end.

What role does animation play in an ad?

Animation is not decoration. It should guide the viewer’s eye, highlight the main benefit, keep the ad readable and support clicks or engagement. The ad must make sense at every moment of the animation loop.

What do interactive and game ads bring?

They turn a passive message into active contact with the brand. People can click, drag, choose, try how a product works or play a simple game. This extends the time spent with the brand and makes it more memorable.

How does MotionBlender measure real engagement and Interaction Time?

Some platforms count even a simple mouse-over as engagement. MotionBlender does not rely only on such a general hover. For each mechanic, we track specific user actions and how long the interaction lasts. Interaction Time adds up across interactions during one impression, and exactly when it starts depends on the chosen format. Time events are milestones, so their counts should not be added together.

What can be measured in interactive and video ads?

In interactive and game ads, we can measure specific actions, such as the start and length of an interaction, completing the mechanic, clicks or game progress. For video, we can report starts and plays of 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% of the video. The exact set of metrics depends on the chosen format and the target ad system, and not every metric is available for every solution.

Will I get an explanation of how to read engagement events?

Yes. MotionBlender has a reporting overview that explains for each format when an event fires, whether it can repeat and what its value means. It also explains Interaction Time and how to read time milestones correctly, so the report doesn’t overstate engagement.

Agencies and partnerships

Is MotionBlender a good fit for an agency with its own HTML5 team?

Yes. For an agency without HTML5 skills, it adds HTML5 production. For an agency with its own team, it provides fast, standardized capacity next to custom projects. Your people can then focus on strategy and original solutions.

Which tasks does MotionBlender take over from an agency?

Standardized HTML5 production, format adaptations, technical preparation, compression, validation and preparing files for the target ad systems. The agency doesn’t need to find HTML5 developers, study platform specifications or add another production tool.

Can MotionBlender handle long-term, high-volume production?

Yes. Our long-term model for Publicis runs at about 120 campaigns a year. It is practical proof that the service handles not only single projects, but also stable production for many brands and clients.

What can a partnership include?

Individual pricing and SLA, a library of starter templates, ongoing creation of new mechanics, technical documents in the partner’s visual identity, support for multiple platforms, usage reporting and a precisely set production workflow.

Can large partners get individual pricing?

Yes. The public price list is the starting point, but volume contracts can have their own unit prices, hourly rates and usage rules. Terms are set by annual volume and the specific way we work together.

How does communication with the agency’s end client work?

As agreed with the agency. Communication can go only through its account team, or MotionBlender can join the technical and production part directly. Roles are set so the client gets fast service and the agency keeps control of the relationship.

How does MotionBlender’s speed compare with typical agency production?

MotionBlender delivers the first working preview within 24 hours of receiving usable assets as standard. Comparable production at agencies usually takes a week or longer. Speed is one of the strongest, proven advantages of the service.

Orders, invoicing and contracts

How do ordering and invoicing work?

Once we agree on scope and price, we confirm the order and agree on invoicing terms. Payment is by invoice as standard. The payment term can differ by client type and the way we work together. All prices are excl. VAT, and any non-standard terms are confirmed before production starts.

Can we sign an NDA before we start?

Yes. We can sign an NDA before you send any assets, for example if the campaign includes an unreleased product or other confidential information. We work with the client’s or agency’s NDA.

Do I have to sign a long-term contract or subscription?

No. You can order MotionBlender for one single campaign, with no subscription or long-term commitment. For regular clients and agencies, we can also set up long-term cooperation with individual prices, SLA and usage rules.

When does the 24-hour period start?

It starts when the job scope is confirmed and we have assets we can start production from. If the assets are not fully ready but we can adjust or complete them ourselves without changing the original idea, we do it and don’t slow production with extra rounds of communication. We contact you only when we can’t reliably continue without your input or decision. Within 24 hours, we then deliver the first working preview of the ad.

Who owns the finished ads and how can the client use them?

You get final ZIP files ready to launch in the ordered campaign and can use them within the agreed scope. Source and editable files and MotionBlender’s templates themselves are not part of the standard delivery. Further use, changes or exports for another platform can be ordered separately.

What happens if the client cancels or pauses the job after it starts?

If a job is canceled or paused after production starts, we bill the work actually done. If it restarts later, we continue from the outputs already prepared, as long as the brief or the campaign’s technical requirements have not changed.

How long do you keep assets and finished outputs?

We keep assets and work files for a limited time so we can follow up with changes, another language version or a repeat campaign. Long-term archiving is not a standard part of the service, so we recommend saving the final ZIP files in your own archive too. Longer storage can be agreed individually.

Can you go through a large company’s supplier onboarding?

Yes. For larger clients and agencies, we can join the standard supplier process, including supplier registration, working with purchase order numbers, signing a contract or NDA and providing the needed company details. Please tell us about these requirements early, so the paperwork doesn’t delay the start of production.
